Hey, I'm Calvin

I'm a filmmaker based in Boston who writes, edits and works on set. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television Production and a minor in Industry Communication.

Editing found me through the hard years. COVID-19 shut down most productions while I was in college, and soon after I graduated the writers' strike brought the industry to a halt again. When there were no sets to work on, I could still cut, so I adapted and made editing my craft.

At Wayfair I started as a digital imaging technician, logging footage and color grading in DaVinci Resolve, and was promoted to lead video editor for the "Why We Love It" Verified Program, where I've now edited and published more than 3,000 videos.

On set, I've worked as a production assistant on Netflix's Forever, The Perfect Couple and Hubie Halloween, 20th Century Studios' Free Guy, and an HGTV House Hunters episode, and I interned at the Martha's Vineyard Film Society.
